this is the Makisoda blog where I’ll be updating you on all the new things here on Makisoda.

I want to thank everyone for trying Makisoda beta, it’s been interesting seeing what people upload here. I designed Makisoda to scratch an itch: in the background of all these complicated business-oriented video services and the enshittification of Vimeo, Makisoda aims to be a more simple solution. the core mission is to quite literally be the simple video service.

I hope to be able to see this through and build out a platform for my friends and other creatives, who just want a place to host their work and portfolios. Makisoda is funded by supporter subscriptions.
